eduID

eduID is a unique system for user authentication and authorization (Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure - AAI), which aims to securely, reliably and easily manage identities, and use them to access services and resources.

We believe that eduID is a prerequisite for overcoming the challenge of greater flexibility in education and lifelong development. What specifically does eduID offer institutions and students?

Advantages of eduID for institutions

• Reduces the administrative burden associated with student mobility.
• It makes it easier to comply with the GDPR, because the student controls his own data.
• Provides institutions with security regarding the digital identity of the student when exchanging data between institutions.
• Provides better support in identifying target groups if they are not (or no longer) registered in the Student Information System (eUNMO).
